HARVEY, GEORGE AND AMY BRENSSELL
Being the children of the owners, you end up being the back-up staff when required. This can mean taking down brassica breaks in the winter, chasing sheep in the yards, tree pruning and assistance when another person is required. Harvey and George are at the age now where they come in very handy for assistance in driving the tractors during the agricultural season.Harvey is at boarding school in Dunedin and is particularly interested in flying planes. He has started lessons and hopes to work towards getting his pilot’s licence one day.
George is keen on motorcross and convinced his dad to put his digger to good use making a motorcross course on the property so that he can practice for events. He also enjoys hunting deer and rabbits/hares on the properties.
Amy is very focused on her ponies and spends most of her free time either riding or getting ponies organised.
All three enjoy helping “big-brother” Harry Russell when he is home from school and working at Fernvale.
