Harry and Prudence now reside on this property along with their race horses. 

The Ettrick block is predominantly a dry-land farm, which is being developed using Lucerne. This block is utilised as a finishing block for anything from triplet-bearing ewes in the spring to lambs in the autumn. This can be very dependant on the growing season. The development of irrigation on 30ha of flat has just been completed with a centre pivot and pole sprinklers. At this point, the pole sprinkers have not performed as per the promises of the supplier.

The total area is 151ha. It has an average rainfall of 450-550mls per annum and an average altitude of 160-380m above sea level.
